Clinicians Who Care

Clinicians Who Care is a free, community-built directory of compassionate healthcare clinicians, created and run by Dr. Bayo as a personal initiative. We want you to feel safe sharing your positive health experiences, and this page explains what information the site collects and how it’s used.

When you submit a clinician, we collect the information you enter, including the clinician’s name, location, specialty, practice, tags, and your notes about your experience, along with your email address. Your email address is used only to verify your submission and reduce spam, helping us confirm that a real person is behind every entry and protecting the integrity of the directory. It is never displayed publicly, never sold, and never shared with anyone.

Once you verify your submission, the positive experience and clinician details you shared become part of the public directory. Your email stays private throughout, so no one will ever see that you were the one who submitted it.

If you report an issue with a listing or contact us through the Help & FAQ page, we collect the message you write and your email address — used to confirm the report and to reply to you. These addresses are treated the same way: never displayed publicly, never sold, and never shared.

Like most websites, our infrastructure processes technical data such as IP addresses to protect the site, for example by rate-limiting to prevent abuse. These records are short-lived. We do not use advertising trackers or sell any data.

New submissions are automatically reviewed by an AI service (Anthropic’s Claude), which checks for spam, hostile content, and fake entries, and helps categorize submissions with tags. Anything flagged is sent to our team for review before it goes live. Submission text is processed for this purpose only.

This resource stays free because patients take the time to share the clinicians who made them feel heard, respected, and cared for. It’s available to everyone, and if it has been helpful to you, we’d be grateful for your support. Every contribution helps cover the cost of keeping the directory running so the next person searching can find it too.

If you choose to support us financially, your payment is processed entirely by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. We never see or store your card details, and Stripe’s privacy policy governs that transaction. We are not a 501(c)(3), so contributions are generally not tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor with any questions.

We do not use cookies to track you. There are no advertising or analytics cookies anywhere on this site. The only cookies present are the minimal ones strictly necessary for the site to function securely.

Unverified submissions are automatically deleted after about 120 days, once our follow-up reminders have run their course. Verified listings remain in the directory until removed. Listing reports are deleted after 30 days if never confirmed; confirmed reports are kept for up to 12 months so we can spot patterns of misuse, then deleted. You may request deletion of your submission or your email address at any time, as described below.

Listings are contributed by patients and colleagues. If you are listed and would like your information corrected or removed, email us at the address below and we will honor the request promptly.

This site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
