Clinicians Who Care

Marissa is my longtime PA at my Pain Clinic. She advocates for me, has provided me with compassionate care for my Chronic Pelvic Pain. Marissa stays up to date on medications and procedures that enable me to remain functional, with minimal narcotics. I have received lidocaine infusions, trigger point injections (recently cut back my Medicare rules), as well as having physical therapy, plus epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency nerve ablations with her physician colleague, and I have a spinal cord stimulator implant. Marissa has heard about new procedures and medications at Pain Conferences, and has educated me on my options. She referred me to a Uro-gynecologist at Oregon Health and Svience University (OHSU), after my previous provider told me there was nothing else she could do for me. (A horrible thing to hear!) My goal is to remain active and functional, on minimal narcotics and adjunct medications, which I could not be if it wasn’t for Marissa!
