Dr. Harms listened and respected my sexual assault trauma and didn't do any unnecessary vaginal exams during my pregnancy. Due to my specific circumstances, she was open to a C-section because of my fear of being retraumatized by giving birth naturally. After educating me on the risks and benefits she gave me the autonomy to decide what was best for my body and mental health. My child and I are healthy and happy today because of her.
