When I first met Dr Lewis I was 32 weeks into a high risk pregnancy and moving into her city. She immediately took me seriously, she spoke to me like a person on a level I could understand, with kindness and empathy, in a way I’ve never experienced with a physician before. She immediately sent me to the hospital for prompt testing and continued to monitor me until she delivered my baby. Later she was the first doctor to ever take my PCOS seriously, doing proper tests and precautionary measures. Years after when we learned my biological family had a strong history of ovarian cancer she wasted no time ordering genetic testing and an ultrasound for issues I was experiencing. She comforted me while I cried with anxiety and celebrated with me when my tests came back clear. She’s truly a wonderful person. I cannot recommend her enough. I’ll be sad to leave her practice when I move soon. If you’re debating where to go for your OB/GYN care and want your concerns heard and respected, this is the place, she’s the doctor.
