He prescribed to me on the first visit, and gave me a chance despite a previous doctor putting "OUD" as a diagnosis in my chart. I have been with him for 6 years, and he has worked with me to keep my pain managed, and is willing to change or increase my meds when needed, sometimes on a temporary basis, and sometimes permanently. He has been a godsend to me, as it is so hard to get pain medication prescribed in Oregon, but Dr. George knows that the opioid hysteria has harmed chronic pain patients, and he advocates for better, more common sense approaches to opioid prescribing.
