Dr. Clark has always been understanding and listens and addresses each of my concerns. When I started having serious symptoms, he took the time to explain to me his thought process on possible diagnoses and the testing, going as far as to explain which blood tests he would be looking at to confirm diagnosis. Ultimately it turned out I had a rare disease with very few treatment options. He was extremely knowledgeable about the disease and keeps up to date on the latest research and guidelines for treatment. Though it took trying several treatments to find one that stabilized my symptoms, each time I felt as though we were mutually making a decision. He would often suggest several options, explain the benefits and drawbacks, and then ask for my options and thoughts. He would always take the time to answer each of my questions, never once making me feel silly for asking or being dismissive. I've had several issues with my insurance approving costly treatments, and through his advocacy we have been able to get each one covered despite initial denials. Dr. Clark is by far the best doctor I've ever had and goes above and beyond for each of his patients.
