The first doctor that came to my mind is Dr. Rani Singh. She is my 5 year old daughter's Epileptologist. After being mistreated by our daughter's former Epileptologists in Alabama just six weeks after her first seizure, which was status epilepticus at 4 years old, I was weary of the next Epileptologist. But, Dr. Singh exceeded every expectation. She spent so much time with us, and we genuinely felt like our daughter was her only patient. For the first time in the life threatening world of epilepsy, we finally believed a doctor cared about our daughter. Since that visit, Dr. Singh has continued to exceed expectations. She has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND for our daughter in her fight for CAP/C, which is a 1915(c) NC Medicaid Waiver for children. She continues to make us feel as if our daughter is her only patient, when I know she has many. And somehow, we don't wait long even though she spends significant time with us. I cannot recommend her enough as a Pediatric Epileptologist & Neurologist.
