Clinicians Who Care

She is the first doctor since my beloved pediatrician, that I have been to that made me feel immediately comfortable. She is the only gyno I have ever had that had this effect on me. She has the most wonderful demeanor. She makes you feel comfortable immediately. I left my first appointment with her looking forward to my next appointment (has that ever happened in the history of going to the gyno?!?). She listens and is clear when she talks/explains/answers questions. When she was going over my medical history with me at my first ever appointment, I told her “oh it’s probably relevant that I had an abortion in 2018” she had the single most wonderful response any person or doctor has ever given me when hearing that: “great, now we know we’ll never have to worry about your ability to get pregnant if you ever decide to do that.” I was floored. I felt so safe and she said exactly what I needed her to say and I didn’t even know that was what I needed her response to be.
