I have autoimmune, but at the time no one would listen to my pain. Dr. Nadir took me seriously and referred me to the right specialist. I was diagnosed thanks to her referral, when my prior male doctor told me I am “a clean bill of health”. Dr. Nadir told me internal medicine cannot test for full autoimmune panel, and her decision to refer out saved me.
