Given my demographic, I was expecting it to be dismissed when I brought it up but Dr. Josh listened, asked me thoughtful follow-up questions, and validated my concerns. At the time, GPs in Aotearoa-New Zealand could not diagnose ADHD so he did a public referral for me and helped me find a fantastic private psychiatrist to see if that suited me better. He was knowledgeable and supportive and continued followed up with me about it throughout the process. He did the best job of making me feel heard and see and I am so grateful to him.
