MaryKate Conroy was the most amazing psychiatrist I have had. She was the first one to ever treat me like a human being and respect my autonomy and choice. She never pressured me to take meds or pushed anything on me and always listened to what I had to say and took my thoughts and opinions seriously. She treated me with respect and most importantly she respected my autonomy and choice.
