I had been suffering from recurrent UTIs for years, and had seen multiple providers in literally three different continents. In the most recent appointment I had had before seeing nurse Estrera, I had left crying over the dismissiveness of a urogynecologist who did not even bother to examine me. Nurse Estrera was the first person in years to bother prescribing me further exams to investigate what was happening. She was able to diagnose my problem and prescribe appropriate treatment. I have not had a UTI in 3 years, and I cannot believe how many years I had to suffer before finding her.
