I have been suffering for 15 years. I was told it was heavy period or my PCOS was just bad. Finally went to a dr who did a whole work up, transvaginal ultrasound, ct and mri. I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis. I was told by 3 doctors all I could do was have a hysterectomy. Finally after fighting with insurance I saw Dr Yoo. She listened and believed me after being told by so many I didn’t have it she said you have all the symptoms. I believe you. She signed me up for larascopic surgery and a nerve block instead of a hysterectomy! After surgery I was diagnosed and pathology confirmed stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis ontop of adenomyosis. After years of doctors and tests not believing me, she said I believe you and you were right.
