After years of dealing with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, a type of dysautonomia, and facing cruel comments, dismissals, and no answers, I finally got in to see Dr. French. It took about 10 minutes for her to complete testing I've been begging for years to receive and to get my official, charted diagnosis. She prescribed medication, and when it was denied by insurance, she found the workaround for me to do a trial of until insurance will approve it. She noticed my hypermobility and history of severe pain and dislocations and messaged my PCP to refer to Ehlers Danlos testing (closely related to POTS). Since the emergence of these issues, I've lost 25-50+ lbs/year, been nearly bedridden, and 100% isolated. Dr. French has given me hope that I can be taken seriously enough to regain some normalcy in my life. I cannot thank or recommend her enough.
