Submitting on behalf of my mother. Dr. Mantillamade it a point to listen to my mother's concerns and give the perfect balance of reassurance and fact finding when it came to her lupus. My mom was quick to blame her symptoms on anxiety and Dr. Mantilla was just as quick to challenge the notion that women with chronic symptoms are just experiencing anxiety.
