Listened to my pain, was very lgbtq+ competent, agreed that I probably have endometriosis, and even though it couldn’t be “officially” diagnosed without a biopsy, and even allowed me to request anesthesia for an IUD because of my history with vaginismus. Even without that extra measure, she said that she always offers her IUD procedure patients a muscle relaxer, local, and also anxiety medications before hand.
