After two gynecologists, one procedure, multiple cysts, countless er visits/imaging, and still told I have a normal reproductive organs. Dr Gentile was the one to finally diagnosis me with endometriosis! Together we developed a plan, and I have officially been cyst free for a year! Just had a recent appointment with him to discuss migraines during my menstrual cycle, while we didn’t come up with an exact treatment plan he explained why he didn’t feel comfortable changing my birth control to combined ocps, and wanted to rule out any neurological/cardiac issues before that. He also gave me the option of another type of progesterone based ocp.
