I saw multiple rheumatologists before Dr. Lumezanu and none of them believed me when I told them my symptoms. Dr. Lumezanu was the first doctor who listened, and she actively worked with me to come up with multiple treatment options that she talked through with me to find the one that I felt most comfortable with. She saw me as a whole person, not just as a person with chronic pain, and made sure that my treatment fit in with the rest of my life.
