Christine is so amazing. I made an appointment with the first clinician available following some pretty concerning symptoms and instead of being dismissed by her she listened intently. takes physical notes as I’m talking and makes a collaborative plan. I had told her about my negative experiences in the past with being dismissed and she said straight up “it’s because you’re a young woman” and that just felt so validating. I left that appointment with an EKG, ZIO patch, and an order for 20 different labs as well as two referrals. I have never seen a provider listen as much as she does and she has changed my life.
