After having a polypectomy by a different provider, I continued to have the original pain but after what I suspected was an infection, new pain developed. First doctor laughed in my face. I went to Dr. Simone who after hearing my description of the pain suggested I likely had adhesions which don’t show on imaging. She performed a laparoscopic procedure and found EXTENSIVE adhesions! Later I had a hysterectomy with her as pain issues continued despite the adhesions is. Turns out my uterus was just a big mess. At the time I was very overweight but she NEVER dismissed my problems as being due to my weight. After the hysterectomy the pain was gone and the next five years were healthy and pain-free. Unfortunately symptoms of a low grade cancer began and new challenges emerged, but I was so grateful to Dr. Simone, she is compassionate and HIGHLY skilled.
