I have IBS and experienced a horrible exacerbation of diarrhea for over a month and finally booked an appointment with the next available provider I could find, which happened to be Dr. Malchuk. I was honestly expecting to be told to eat differently and not much else but was hoping I could at least get some sort of medication to help with the diarrhea. She instead ordered a CBC & BMP, multiple stool tests, and an ultrasound after thoroughly examining my abdomen and listening to my symptoms. It felt nice to be taken seriously and not have this debilitating condition brushed off
