Dr. McColm has a gentle manner that makes me feel less anxious and more open to share. He practices collaborative conservative medicine. He looks me directly in the eyes when speaking or listening to me. I have a complicated autoimmune disease and I have several sub specialists participating in my care. He acts as a gateway to find the best solution short of dangerous medication or surgery and he reads and responds to my messages very promptly. He never prescribes a new medication until he has explained how it works, how long I should expect to take it, and what side effects I might experience. I’ve been a patient of his for eight years and through many hospitalizations and surgeries.
