Dr. Z is the first doctor who has ever truly listened and understood that my symptoms can come from a myriad of factors. When suggesting next steps or treatment, she considered race and ethnicity, family history, lifestyle, environment and other factors to truly get to the root of the matter. While she did proscribe medications, they were only as either a last resort or to regulate things enough for me to make other changes and get off of the medication. She made suggestions of holistic remedies such has taking vitamin d supplements or drinking Hawthorne’s tea to help increase energy and lower blood pressure when things were manageable on my own. I appreciate the care she took and her personable bedside manner when having to discuss hard things. I highly recommend her to anyone in the south Atlanta area.
