My first visit I must have been over explaining myself, bc thats just what I do now. I feel like I always have to defend my stance of why I take my medications the way that I do. She stopped me and said “I dont have to explain myself. She believes me and understands. My reason is valid.” I had never had a doctor ever just take me at my word and not need explanation of why I dont want to feel badly because wanting to feel well was enough. I couldn’t believe my ears.
