It 2018 I was very healthy, I had completed a marathon. I was training for a cycling event. I ended up in the ER with sudden onset of shortness of breath. I lost count of the # of MD's I saw. Pulmonary said it was Cardiac & vice versa. I had a CT scan, pulmonary function test, brochial biopsy, metacholine challenge. All negative. I had covid x 3 and developed respiratory issues again. Went to Allergy/Asthma MD, again she blew me off. One thing she did to get rid of me was to refer me to Dr Moore. She repeated the PFT and confirmed that I have had severe, persistent asthma involving the small vessels, I've had it since 2018, other MD's didn't know what they were looking at. She listened to me and my husband and apologized for the way other MD's ignored me.
