Nicole listened to me and supported me after so many years of being dismissed, invalidated, and misunderstood by therapists and psychiatrists. She is openly queer and does not shy away from issues that are rampant in our community as queer people. She is also neurodiversity-affirming and recognizes the ways that many traditional clinical therapy methods can be harmful for neurodivergent individuals. I am so grateful for the progress I made with her, and I would say I made more progress with her in 6 months than I did in 10 years of therapy with other therapists. She was the first one to actually hear me out regarding my previous missed diagnoses, and she has a much deeper understanding of autism and ADHD than most neurotypical therapists in the area.
