I was referred to Dr. McKay by my primary care with likely endometriosis. Dr. McKay discussed my options between an ablation and a hysterectomy. After listening to my symptoms, she said that I seemed like a person who had been in pain for a long time and was just done. Once I made my decision to have surgery her first comment was, "We're going to take good care of you." And they did. Between the scheduler, nurses, techs, and doctors I had successful surgery 5 weeks later to remove stage 3 endometriosis and have a hysterectomy on a uterus with adenomyosis all the way through.
