I've been dealing with menopause symptoms for years only to be told by my gyno that my labs are fine. I went back to my PCP and she did labs, my hormones fell off a cliff. I'm now on HRT and have an appointment with another gyno with menopause experience. My doctor helped save my sanity, and quite possibly my life.
