I had a lot of anxiety around seeing a gyn, and she had a whole separate appointment with me to discuss the anxiety. She also ran a lab test to confirm my pain wasn’t due to some kind of infection, even though I myself said I thought it was anxiety. When I later came in for the exam, she was very careful and it wasn’t painful at all.
