We see Dr. Krunic for child psychiatry. After going through multiple psychiatrists, all of whom were "good enough", but when we need a more thorough approach, she went the extra mile. For example, most doctors treated my daughter strictly through the lens of ADHD. We felt some minimized the severity of her symptoms. Dr. Krunic is extremely thorough and picked up on nuances others overlooked. She is extremely knowledgable on up to date research, and subtle differences in seemingly similar medications. She is cautious yet thorough. She incorporates and gives referrals to treat the whole child, including the importance of healthy diet, exercise, school-based interventions, psycotherapy, and other assessments when needed. Yes she may be more expensive than others and does not accept insurance, but is worth every penny as she dramatically improved my daughter's overall mental health and our understanding of it
