I already had an established GI prior to my hospitalization, but he was unavailable. Through God’s will Dr. Agarwal came to see me instead, and I genuinely feel like he potentially saved my life. This man along with my hem/onc, helped push for more answers when the hospitalist wanted to discharge me on pain medication and blood thinners, with no explanation as to why my spleen and liver were quadruple the normal size. Dr. Agarwal treated me like I was his daughter. He was gentle, kind, listened to my concerns, and promised me he would not let them send me home until I felt safe to do so.
