He didn’t blame it on stress or diet or environment. To him, it was obvious that eczema makes you suffer and we need to get rid of it! He listened when I said no steroids. He specializes in eczema too. He also didn’t force me on birth control due to the prescriptions, He was very thorough, made sure I understood eczema and why I had it, and made sure to explain the medication and next steps. He was also very understanding of my studies abroad. He didn’t judge, didn’t focus on my autistic behavior, he didn’t focus on my wheelchair, truly focused on what I was there for! For a chronically ill patient who is aways gaslit, this was my first positive interaction with a doctor!
