Clinicians Who Care

Dr Barish has been fantastic. I started seeing him over 4 years ago. He specializes in Functional Medicine, so not a true Primary care provider. I had been having issues sleeping for years. Other doctors would do tests and then tell me "everything is fine." I thought, no I am not "fine". I'm not sleeping. Dr Barish did functional tests to assess nutritional status of micronutrients. I also was diagnosed with SIBO. Treating these greatly improved my sleep. I am 99% better than when I started seeing him and still check in regularly to keep things at bay. He is the only dr who has listened to me when I would say, "I think I have this based on x, y and z.". He also will tell me if my assessment is off and explain why. Never in a condescending way.
