The whole time I’ve seen Yesenia, she’s made it very clear that her goal was to have me on as little meds as possible. She’s genuinely the opposite of a pill pusher. She’s very thorough, and will remove or replace diagnosis’ without fear if she believes it’s correct to do so. Yesenia is also very honest, something I find very valuable in any mental health practitioner. If she feels you’re hiding something, unsure about something, being less than honest, she’ll ask you very directly about it. She’s a big, bright, bubbly, brash personality - and she cares deeply about your treatment and wellness. (And, obviously, she has impeccable rapport.)
