Shawn is incredible, kind, and listens like a friend. Shawn has done so much for advocating for women's health, she deserves a whole history book. Shawn received the Award for Innovations in Health at the University of Utah and served many years in various board roles of professional organizations such as the Montana Nurses Association and the Montana Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Association and as a Montana State Family Planning Medical Advisory Committee member. She taught nursing at Northern Nevada Community College and Salish Kootenai College. Shawn has 10 years of public health experience in addition to over 25 years of private practice. She is also a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), a Certified Wholistic Health Educator (WHE), a Certified Geriatric Care Professional (CGCP) and North American Menopause Society Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP). Shawn enjoys providing a wide range of women’s care, including contraception, fertility care, menopause management, prenatal and postnatal care, sexually transmitted disease management, bladder care, cancer screening, and management of sexual concerns. Shawn seeks to empower patients and their families through education to pursue informed choices that promote well-being.
