Dr. Morgenshtern and her staff are so warm and caring and listen to you with kindness and respect. I have chronic migraines (20+ per month) and have struggled most of my life to get them under control. My initial visit, a virtual visit, lasted over an hour, and we spoke about every possible genetic/environmental/hormonal/nutritional reason why my migraines have gotten worse over time. She pledged in that first visit that she would do everything in her power to help me get better, and she truly has. An anecdote: I was in her procedure room about to get trigger point injections into my neck and back muscles. We did one injection and the pain of the procedure was unbearable for me. She stopped and sat with me as I sobbed, embarrassed and frustrated that I couldn’t handle treatment. She put her hand on my shoulder and assured me that it was okay - not every treatment is meant for every person, and that we’d work together to tailor a treatment plan just for me. Her assistant then gave me a tissue and a warm hug. It is so rare to find a doctor and staff who genuinely care about your wellbeing and will spend as much time with you as you need. Dr. Morgenshtern has changed my life. Her wait list is long, for good reason, but I promise it’s worth it!
