As a caregiver for adults with developmental disabilities, I was impressed with her genuine respect and concern for my clients that had her for their primary care. Because of that, I chose her to be my primary care doctor. I had several times where I brought a problem to her and she assisted me with real solutions, whether it be chicken skin on my arms or concern for asthma (which I was tested and diagnosed). One time, when she looked at an area of my skin I was concerned with, she said she personally did not believe further concern was warranted, but she was happy to refer me to a dermatologist if I wanted to dig deeper. She didn't let her own opinion stop me from getting further care if I wanted it, which is something I have faced in the past.
