EndometriosisPCOSPelvic PainHeavy/Painful PeriodsChronic IllnessI had been struggling with severe menstrual cramps, heavy periods, along with absence of period for long stints but still having severe pain and bloating along with my many other symptoms (some aren’t diagnosed yet) but I felt heard the second I arrived in her office especially after bleeding for around 7 months straight she did all the tests needed and I had a procedure done where she removed some of my thickened endometrial tissue and some cysts as well and that bleeding stopped but the cramping didn’t so I waited and hoped it would get less painful naturally but it didn’t so I went back in almost a year later and at that point she suggested a diagnostic laparoscopic procedure and after that experience I had already been diagnosed with PCOS and then was also diagnosed with endometriosis stage 1. I used to think having all that pain was normal but I felt so safe and validated to figure out it wasn’t even if the diagnosis’s ended up being chronic.
