This pediatrician made the absolute difference for my 10 year old son who has been plagued by tip toe walking and random illness and eventually was having so much pain and an unusual gait that EVERY SINGLE OTHER pediatrician who I brought this issue up to since he was 2 years old brushed off or told me he was faking it. Dr. Afreen Abraham not only listened and provided compassionate care to him, she took it extremely seriously THE FIRST VISIT she had with him and immediately referred him to specialists who a few weeks later had him diagnosed with a severe and lifelong disease that should and could have been caught years ago if his previous clinicians took the time to truly hear and CARE for him.
