I had weird symptoms that had been dismissed for years - random cramps, blood in stool that always aligned w/ my period, that other OBs always dismissed. Nobody believed I had endo bc i didn't have all the classic symptoms. This doc ordered a bunch of testing after our first meeting bc she thought it was important to get to the bottom of everything. Turns out i do have endo, and the imaging she ordered also found two cysts that needed too be removed. She truly saved me a lot future pain and heartache!
