He listens to patient concerns and does his best to help find out what's going on. He and Sarah Lucas (APRN, same practice) were the first two who have actually listened to my concerns. I am 28 now, and have been having periods since I was 10. They have always been incredibly painful and made me really sick. I had been to 5 others before seeing them, and I was always brushed off with "periods hurt. That's normal." But this year, for the first time, someone listed. I have endometriosis and have likely had it the whole time. I am very grateful to Dr James, who performed my laparoscopy and will be performing my hysterectomy within the next month.
