Dr. Politz is a parathyroid surgeon. He was the only one that actually listened to me! I am young and every other doctor refused to believe that I had a parathyroid tumor because it did not show up on any scans. Even right before my surgery Dr. Politz told me "I could go in and there could be nothing but at least we tried." I was happy with that. Turns out, I did have a tumor. When I came out of surgery he told me he was proud of me for continuing to advocate for myself. It's hard but you have to be persistent and even 'rude' until you find the doctor that will listen. Trust me when I say this is the nicest doctor and he will listen to you and believe you. See him if you have any issues with your parathyroid! Don't let them gaslight you!
