She was the only doctor in 5 years to pay attention when I said that something was wrong. The other doctor told me to get on psychiatric medication’s and see a therapist. They told me I was too young to be in perimenopause. I went through probably four doctors before her. She listened to everything I had to say patiently and receptively. She told me that I wasn’t crazy and I was most likely in perimenopause. She helped me come up with a plan to get treatment and referred me to a surgeon to help me get my tubes tied so that I could get off hormones. We both agreed to that getting off birth control and seeing what my body would do without it was the best course of action. The next step is seeing if things regulate. If not, I know that she’s going to be there for me. She even sat with my daughter for probably 30 minutes when my daughter decided that she wanted to donate her eggs. I was able to trust this woman with my child (19yrs old) to give her advice. We went in the room together and she just listened and gave sound medical advice without judgment. I really can’t recommend her enough! That I would take my child to her is the highest level of recommendation from me!
