Clinicians Who Care

I'm an Asian-American woman and doctoral healthcare student in a state that's 3% Asian (and somewhat conservative politics wise). After my car accidents, I was informed that my muscle tension was normal, then due to stress ("psychosomatic"), then my mental health medication (that I was pulled off of), then that I needed to keep up with my physical therapy exercises. I held myself accountable for all of the above but continued to be in CONSTANT pain. 8 months later, Dr. Shuda added me to her schedule when another specialist had cancelled our appt (after a 2-month wait). Dr. Shuda diagnosed me and treated me for cervical dystonia. I could not be more grateful to Dr. Shuda for genuinely saving my life and getting me the proper diagnosis.
