Clinicians Who Care

Dr Salko is NOT a rheumatologist, but I found myself a patient of Dr. Salko’s due to what I now know was an EDS related injury that caused chronic pain. It wouldn’t heal and my pain wouldn’t get better. Dr. Salko was the only doctor out of over 12 in the last several years who took me, my pain and symptoms seriously. He not only diagnosed me, he gave me real options and suggestions to find relief. He referred me to a PT clinic that specialized in my condition. I will never be better. I will likely never be pain free. But Dr. Salko listened. He made me feel seen, and after years of fighting to be listened to- sometimes that’s enough.
