She is the first doctor to listen to me. I was put on estrogen against my consent because I had an ovarian cyst rupture and they wanted me on estrogen to decrease the chances of one forming again. The entire experience was traumatic, i was forced onto a medicine that changed my body, ruined my health, crashed my A1C until I was nearly diabetic, all for estrogen. I have naturally high testosterone, I do not have PCOS, previous doctor also tried to force me to do an invasive test. I told Dr. Hayden all this and informed her I am genderfluid and i needed to be off estrogen for gender affirming care. She rushed to make sure my blood and urine tests were good and switched off estrogen a few days later. I was also pressured by a previous doctor to strip infeont of them as they accused me of being anorexic but didnt believe me when I said I wasnt.
