I have never been taken seriously by a doctor, they have always chalked up what I am experiencing to anxiety despite telling them countless times it is not that and being manipulated and gaslighted. Dr. Garbarino has taken me seriously every step of the way and ordered countless tests for me whereas I have been rejected before. If we don’t find an answer in those tests she orders more tests. She helps me try to find extra care with specialists and advocates for my mental health in a way that is not patronizing and blaming conditions on it but out of actual care. She is truly amazing and I recommend her to anyone who will go and is in need of a new primary.
