Dr. Ryan Dickerson is a fibroid expert and an absolutely lovely person. He was able to solve my excessive bleeding by treating my fibroid with a minimally-invasive, uterus-sparing procedure when other doctors had tried to coerce me into a hysterectomy (a major and life-changing surgery that I did not want, and based on where my fibroid was, did not need). He also treated my severe and persistent iron-deficiency anemia (when many other doctors ignored it) and helped me get started with HRT. He's kind and intelligent, he listens to you, and he educates you on your conditions because he says he wants you to have the information you need to make a decision that YOU are comfortable with. He is interested in treating the root cause of your issue, which I so appreciate. Within Baton Rouge I've only ever heard good things about him, and a surprisingly large number of good things.
