When i was 17 I asked my male PCP to have a psych referral for ADHD testing because I fit the criteria. That Doctor said it was just my personality and to not believe everything on the internet (and insinuated I was drug seeking). I switched to Dr. Johnson and she listened and HEARD me at every appointment. She is also very big on educating patients which has been great because I like to know how my provider comes to a decision. I’ve been under her care for years now and have recommended all my family and friends to see her as their PCP.
