Clinicians Who Care

Located in Stafford, North Brisbane. Dr M has been helpful with complex chronic illness and is neurodivergent friendly (he feels we're much more interesting to talk to 😂 ). He is not offended by women who feel the need to present and discuss research on conditions as long as the info they present is credibly sourced. He will explain his assertions without defensiveness and always takes a listening posture when you're talking. Additionally, he seems to have an understanding of the socio-economic disadvantage and discrimination faced by those living with chronic complex illness; at times choosing to bulk bill to counter this. Moreover, he is often willing to consider offlabel and experimental therapies (e.g. Catapres for ADHD, LDN for long covid), can explain mechanism of action for most drugs, and appears to stay up to date with (and is accepting of) contemporary or emerging research. I have seen Dr M for years and have few complaints. Like any good doctor, we won't always see eye to eye but he does always offer an explanation if he doesn't find my request for a test or service relevant or helpful to my treatment. I don't need to be right, I just want the best treatment. He's always open to educating me, and idk what more I could ask for.
